Penn State is a finalist for one of the top junior safeties in the country.
4-star cornerback Elliot Washington (Venice, Florida) has narrowed down his long list of offers to five programs- Penn State, Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia and Michigan State.

Washington also held offers from Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
Washington, who has received an invite to play in the 2023 Under Armour All-America Game, is ranked by 247 Sports as the No. 179 junior prospect and one of the Top 20 junior safeties.
Aside from starring on the football field, Washington also excels as a member of the Venice High School track team.
Washington received his offer from Penn State back on October 4 from assistant Alan Zemaitis.
