Saturday will not only be a big game for the Penn State football team on the field, it will also be another big day in terms of recruiting for the program.
It will not rival the Auburn game in terms of the number of recruits but Beaver Stadium will be filled with a number of high level recruits from all sorts of grade levels.
4-star wide receiver Rodney Gallagher and 3-star offensive tackle Joshua Miller are two big uncommitted recruits making unofficial visits and today, we have another name to tell you about.
2023 4-star safety Dakaari Nelson tells Nittany Sports Now that he is making the trip from Selma, Alabama to attend the Penn State/Michigan game. Nelson is ranked by 247 Sports as one of the Top 100 recruits in the country with a current offer list from Arkansas, Auburn, Duke, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
Nittany Sports Now caught up with Nelson before his travel to State College.
”I am VERY excited to visit Penn state this weekend,” said Nelson. “I’m coming to experience the atmosphere during a game and to have a good time. I’m looking forward to seeing the fans and how hype they get the players during and before the game. I have a great relationship with the coaches at Penn State and this trip will help tighten my relationship with them.”
