Penn State is staring down a huge road game against No. 3 Iowa this afternoon, but Nittany Lions’ fans can look just a bit further ahead to see senior quarterback Sean Clifford’s potential successor down the line.
Four-star quarterback Drew Allar from Medina High School in Medina, Ohio has continued to light up Ohio high school football this season, completing 34-of-47 attempts for 349 yards and two touchdowns in a big win over Brunswick High School Friday night.
Penn State commit Drew Allar went 34-47, 349 passing yards & 2 pass TDs last night. The full skill set is on display here but what u won’t see is how patient he was and how he took what the defense gave him. Such a smart player @AllarDrew https://t.co/N8vIwOtrae

Allar, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound Elite 11 quarterback, has led Medina to an 8-0 record this season, 4-0 in the conference, and the Fighting Bees look well-equipped for a deep run in the Ohio state playoffs this season.
Allar is a Top 100 recruit in the 2022 cycle, coming in as the 92nd-ranked overall recruit, seventh-ranked quarterback and the fourth-ranked recruit from Ohio, according to 247Sports.
