A big blow to the Penn State defensive line.
James Franklin announced Wednesday night that senior defensive tackle PJ Mustipher will miss the remainder of the 2021 season.
Mustipher was injured in the first quarter of Saturday’s game at Iowa and did not return to action.
During the Fox broadcast, sideline reporter Jenny Taft reported “they’re not too worried about something too serious, but it is that left knee, and he’s got a brace on it.”
Obviously that wasn’t the case because the 6’4”, 325 defensive lineman has played his last snap at Penn State.
Mustipher was having his best season collecting 21 tackles (three for a loss) and one sack.
