While Penn State has suffered a couple of key injuries against Iowa through the first half, one of Iowa’s most valuable defenders was forced to the locker room with an undisclosed injury.
Iowa senior defensive Riley Moss intercepted a pass from PSU backup quarterback Ta’Quan Roberson intended for Jahan Dotson and in his celebration after the play, fell to the ground clutching his knee.

Moss leads Iowa with four interceptions, including the one today, this season, so his absence in the second half would be a major loss to Iowa’s defense. It’s unclear what is ailing Moss, but he was escorted to the Iowa locker room with some help from trainers.
The Iowa defense has already forced three interceptions from Penn State’s Sean Clifford and Roberson so far today, but the Nittany Lions lead 17-10 at the half.
