The top recruiting class in the nation could always use more talent, and 2022 four-star linebacker Wesley Bissainthe from Miami Central in Miami, Florida certainly offers a lot of talent.
Bissainthe (6-foot-1, 200 pounds) has received offers from over 25 schools, but he narrowed down his Top 5 Wednesday night, and WVU made the cut. Miami, Florida State, Florida, Penn State and WVU are the five finalists for his commitment.

Rivals’ Ryan Wright wrote about Bissainthe, getting his thoughts on PSU:
“I talk to Coach (Brent) Pry and Coach (James) Franklin a lot. I like the way they use their linebackers in their defense.”
Bissainthe has visited all five schools in his Top 5, and he visited the Nittany Lions on June 11, and his visit coincided with some big names (such as four-star running back Nicholas Singleton and four-star defensive lineman Dani Dennis-Sutton) that have already committed to PSU.
247Sports rates Bissainthe as the 172nd-ranked recruit in the nation, coming in as the 20th-ranked linebacker and the 20th-ranked recruit from Florida. Rivals rates him as the 23rd-ranked outside linebacker and the 42nd-ranked recruit from Florida.
PSU will face an uphill battle in landing Bissainthe, with both 247Sports and Rivals currently projecting him to commit to Miami. His commitment date will come later this year.
