Penn State Announces 2021 Men’s Basketball Non-Conference Schedule

With college football season officially opening this weekend, Penn State men’s basketball is in the headlines as the 2021 non-conference schedule is released.

In Micah Shrewsberry’s first season, the Nittany Lions will play 11 non-conference games, with seven at them being played at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Penn State’s season will tip-off on November 10 against Youngstown State, which will be just the second game ever between the two schools.

Other highlights in the schedule include Penn State playing at UMass on November 15, taking part in the Emerald Coast Classic in Florida starting on November 26 and a challenging non-conference game at VCU on December 18.

2021 Penn State Non-Conference Schedule: 

November 10 vs. Youngstown State

November 15 at UMass

November 18 vs. St. Francis, Brooklyn

November 22 vs. Cornell

November 26 vs. LSU  (Niceville, Florida)

November 27 vs. Wake Forest or Oregon St (Niceville, Florida)

December 1 vs. Miami  (Big Ten/ACC Challenge)

December 8 vs. Wagner

December 18 at VCU

December 22 vs. Quinnipiac

December 29 vs. Delaware State
