**2022 four-star running back George Pettaway from Nansemond-Suffolk Academy in Suffolk, Virginia committed to North Carolina over Penn State, Oregon and Florida. Pettaway (5-foot-11, 190 pounds) is a Top 100 recruit in the class, according to 247Sports.

**Today, Penn State football extended an offer to freshman running back Anthony Rogers from Pike Road, Alabama. Rogers (5’8″, 180) has also received early offers from Auburn, Georgia and Western Kentucky.

**This morning, Penn State football extended an offer to 2023 safety Cameron Upshaw Jr. from Gadsden County High School in Havana, Florida. Upshaw received the offer from assistant Anthony Poindexter and also holds offers from Maryland and Virginia.
