Recruiting notebook: PSU a finalist for 3-star prospects Winston Jr., Lorenzetti

Penn State is in good position with two more class of 2022 prospects, both of whom included the Nittany Lions among their finalists Wednesday.

Kevin Winston Jr., a 3-star safety from DeMatha Catholic High School in Maryland, has PSU in his final two. He’s 6-foot-2, 190 pounds and ranks as the No. 17 prospect in Maryland. He lists the Terps as his other finalist.

Penn State also made the top three for 3-star offensive tackle Alessandro Lorenzetti, a 6-4, 285-pounder from The Loomis Chaffee School in Connecticut. Originally from Montreal, he’s rated the No. 2 prospect in Connecticut.

His other finalists are Michigan and Michigan State.
