Former Penn State offensive lineman Steven Gonzalez was all set to join the Spring League to continue his football career, but a much, much better offer came his way Wednesday.
Gonzalez announced that he has signed with the Buffalo Bills, saying that he is “humbled, blessed and excited” for the opportunity.

It was just 10 days earlier that Gonzalez had tweeted out the following, saying he would be playing in the Spring League.

Gonzalez played at PSU from 2015-19 and was second-team all-Big Ten his senior season in 2019. He started 39 games at left guard over his final three years.
Gonzalez went undrafted in 2020 but did get an opportunity with the Arizona Cardinals before being cut.
