Allen Robinson gets franchise tag from Bears

Former Penn State wide receiver Allen Robinson was set to get paid huge bucks in free agency this offseason, but instead he has been franchise tagged by the Chicago Bears.

Robinson, one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, will make $18 million for the 2021 season from the Bears under the franchise tag.

Robinson caught 102 passes for 1,250 and six TDs for the Bears this past season. He is one of the most sure-handed receivers in the game, rarely ever dropping a ball, which Penn State fans first saw when he caught a school-record 97 passes in 2013.
