Update: 6:30 p.m.
**Former Penn State cornerback Trevor Williams has signed a futures contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to SteelersNow.com.
Williams went undrafted in 2016 but was able to make an impact with the Chargers, appearing in 37 games from 2016-18. He also appeared in two games with the Cardinals in 2019 and two with the Eagles this season.
A futures contract allows a team to claim the player’s rights for the following season, if it wants to sign him to a full contract.
