Penn State is making a hard push for cornerback MJ Devonshire, a former four-star recruit from Aliquippa High School who spent the past two seasons at Kentucky and is now in the transfer portal.
A source tells Nittany Sports Now that PSU asssistant coach Terry Smith is leading the push for Devonshire, who is set to announce next week where he will transfer.
It makes sense that PSU would go hard after Devonshire, given he’s from Pennsylvania and because the Nittany Lions were thin at cornerback this season. They had to play with only three players at the position for a couple of weeks, and starter Tariq Castro-Fields had to miss a lot of time with an undisclosed injury.
Pitt also is in the running for Devonshire, who was recruited
