Gesicki becoming one of NFL’s top tight ends

Mike Gesicki caught four passes for 54 yards in the Dolphins’ 26-25 miracle win Saturday night over the Raiders. Miami got the ball back with 19 seconds trailing, 25-23, and got a Hail Mary and a penalty that led to a game-winning field goal.

Here is Gesicki and Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick celebrating some Fitzmagic after the crazy win.

Gesicki now has 48 catches for 656 yards and six TDs this season. He is fourth in the NFL in receiving yards among tight ends. He’s having the best season by a Dolphins tight end since 2004.

Gesicki was a second-round draft pick (42nd overall) in 2018 and is in his third season with the Dolphins. He caught 22 passes for 202 yards as a rookie, then 51 passes for 570 yards and five TDs last season.

**Allen Robinson caught 10 passes for 103 yards in the Bears’ 41-17 win over the Jaguars, his former team, on Sunday. His 10th catch of the game gave him 100 for the season, the first time in his career he’s reached the century mark.

**Chris Godwin caught five passes for 84 yards and one score in Tampa Bay’s 47-7 win over the Lions on Saturday. This was Godwin’s TD catch.

**Miles Sanders had 57 yards on 15 carries and scored one TD in the Eagles’ 37-17 loss to the Cowboys. Here is Sanders’ TD:

**DaeSean Hamilton had a big day in the Broncos’ 19-16 loss to the Chargers, catching five passes for 77 yards. His career highs are seven catches and 82 yards. Hamilton now has 21 catches for 275 yards this season.

KJ Hamler, by the way, did not have any catches for the Broncos, although he did carry one time for 3 yards.

This was a highlight-reel catch for Hamilton on Sunday:
