Overreaction Monday: PSU may never be elite and may have already peaked under Franklin

The disappointment of an 0-2 start has left many PSU fans highly disappointed and even angry. There are still goals that can be achieved this season, and the Nittany Lions have enough talent to achieve a lot of them.

However, when it comes to the infamous “elite” conversation, we were reminded Saturday night that Ohio State is plain and simply a better football program. And until that changes, Penn State and James Franklin will always struggle taking the next step to elite status.
