Hi, what are you looking for?

2-Minute Morning

Overreaction Monday: Is it time to bench Sean Clifford?

The answer to this question might be pretty obvious to a lot of Penn State fans after watching Sean Clifford struggle against Maryland in the 35-19 loss.

Clifford was 6-of-20 for 78 yards and one TD in the first half as PSU fell behind, 28-7. He had several bad overthrows on plays that could have given the Lions a lot of momentum, but he just couldn’t make the play.

Maryland’s Taulia Tagovailoa, on the other hand, was fantastic in the first half, completing 14-of-19 for 246 yards and three TDs.

Tagovailoa came out ready to play.
