Friday Football Showcase: Previewing PSU at Nebraska and Steelers vs. Bengals

Graphic by Penn State Athletics

Friday Football Showcase airs each Friday, featuring Cory Giger and Jason Dambach previewing the weekend football action.

This week, Penn State will look for its first win after an 0-3 start against a struggling Nebraska team that’s 0-2. The Huskers have issues at quarterback, but they can run the ball well.

Will PSU be able to overcome the emotional hit this week of finding out that Journey Brown’s football career is over?

Will Nebraska be able to throw the ball well enough to challenge the Lions’ defense?

In the NFL, will Ben Roethlisberger be able to play for the Steelers after not practicing this week because of COVID concerns. Big Ben has not tested positive and should be able to play, and he will be going up against a good young QB in Cincy’s Joe Burrow.
