Will Penn State basketball ever really matter?

Follow the money. It’s the most straightforward advice in life because, in most cases, it’s absolutely true.

Penn State just doesn’t spend the kind of money necessary for its men’s basketball program to be overly relevant year after year after year.

Yes, there will be pockets of success. But as Cory Giger points out in the video, there’s just not a lot of reason to believe PSU hoops will ever be consistently good enough to warrant passion from a great number of people.
