Shakeup of Pirates player development staff continues: Pirates confirm they have parted ways with senior pitching coordinator Scott Mitchell and Double-A Altoona pitching coach Tom Filer. Mitchell had been with club past 10 seasons. Filer was with the team for 11 seasons.

Update: 3:20 p.m.
**Penn State Athletics reported only one positive COVID result out of 1,241 tests administered from Oct. 10-16. There also is one test pending.
The latest results continue a very positive trend for Penn State, which has reported fewer than five COVID positives for three weeks in a row.

Not long ago, @Timfraz23's goal was to represent @PennStateMBB in the @NBA.
He succeeded, and just finished his sixth season.
