Despicable acts by Browns’ Garrett, Hunt prove yet again athletes aren’t role models

With the Steelers and Browns playing today, a lot of attention has been placed on Myles Garrett’s helmet-swinging outburst last season, then his attempt to explain it by lying and saying that Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph called him a racial slur.

What Garrett pulled on and then especially off the field was pathetic.

Browns running back Kareem Hunt has had his own off-the-field issues, pushing a woman and then allegedly kicking her in a hotel, leading to him being suspended by the NFL.

Athletes are not role models, Cory Giger says in the video below. And if they can play, many of them will be given all kinds of opportunities to keep doing so, regardless of their off-field transgressions.
