Steelers Release former Penn State WR Saeed Blacknall

The Steelers have released former Penn State wide receiver Saeed Blacknall.

Blacknall, 24, had two stints with the Steelers in training camp. He was waived on Aug. 21 and re-signed on Aug. 28.

Blacknall originally signed with the Steelers in April after playing with the Los Angeles Wildcats of the XFL, catching four passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns. At Penn State, Blacknall caught 50 passes for 979 yards and seven touchdowns before signing as an undrafted free agents with the Oakland Raiders in 2018. He has also spent time with the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals.
