**I can’t understand how Florida State’s program got so terrible. FSU is getting humiliated in its rivalry game against Miami, 35-3.

There once was a time when the Noles were a top five staple for more than a decade. Now they’re a punchline.

Update: 8:30 p.m.

**Goodness. SEC record for passing yards in a game. In the season opener. In his first game there (transferred from Stanford). And in Mike Leach’s first game at Mississippi State.

Crazy.

**We could have had even more chaos in college football today as Texas Tech led Texas 56-41 late. The Longhorns rallied and won in OT.

**Thoughts and prayers go out to Erie McDowell football player who collapsed on sideline and underwent brain surgery in Pittsburgh.
