2-Minute Morning (9-26): College Football Playoff should expand this year – and only this year

I have long been a proponent of maintaining the integrity and importance of the college football regular season, which is the greatest regular season we have in American sports.

To that end, we can’t have 8 or 16 teams getting into the College Football Playoff every year. It would water down the regular season too much, allowing a bunch of teams with two or even three losses to get in.

No thanks.

However, I’m also a big believer in being able to adapt to circumstances. So, I would be OK expanding the CFP field this year.

Find out why in my video below.
