We now know what the kickoff time will be for Penn State-Nebraska.
PSU’s Senior Day clash at Beaver Stadium will instead be a Senior Night clash, scheduled to kickoff at 7 on NBC.
It will be Penn State’s second prime time game at Beaver Stadium, and the team will hope for a better result than the first one.
That was Penn State’s White Out clash with Oregon, which ended in a double-overtime loss and started the team’s six-game losing streak, which ended this past Saturday night in East Lansing against Michigan State.
It will also be Terry Smith’s last home game as interim coach. After the season, he’ll either have the interim tag removed or he’ll become the full-time guy.
RHULE’S RETURN

This will mark the first time Penn State grad Matt Rhule will have coached in Beaver Stadium since taking over at Nebraska before the 2023 season. That context would have been compelling enough by itself, but it’s all the more compelling because Penn State is looking for its next coach.
Because Rhule went to Penn State and grew up in State College, and also has a close friendship with Penn State AD Pat Kraft from when both worked at Temple, he became a candidate hy default.
But Nebraska extending Rhule makes those odds a lot lower.
GOING BOWLING?

Penn State is 4-6 and thus needs to win its last two games to make it to a bowl. That’s the biggest team goal remaining for 2025, and the last two games for Penn State kickoff against Nebraska.
