Kari Jackson, a Class of 2024 four-star linebacker out of West Bloomfield, Michigan, has narrowed his school choice down to seven and Penn State made the list.
Penn State is in the running along with Cincinnati, Maryland, Missouri, Stanford UCF, and Wisconsin for Jackson, who is the number seven player in Michigan, the No. 21 linebacker, and the No. 272 player nationally according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
Jackson (6-foot-2, 220 pounds) visited Penn State for its junior day last weekend and reportedly spent a lot of time talking to Penn State defensive coordinator Manny Diaz and recruiting coordinator for personnel Alan Zemaitis.
Jackson spoke about his recent visit to Penn State and raved about the facilities and staff.
“I liked everything,” Jackson said. “Everything was top-notch. All the new renovations they’ve made make everything better at Penn State. All of the staff there is great. I was able to sit down with them and with my family, talk, have conversations and keep deepening our relationship.”

Jackson recorded 103 tackles (65 solo), 26 tackles for loss, and three sacks in his junior season for West Bloomfield.
Penn State looks like they are in a favorable position to land Jackson as both in-state schools Michigan and Michigan State did not make his top seven and Wisconsin turns out to be the biggest competition for his commitment.
Jackson will make his decision on his commitment most likely this summer before his senior season as he plans to take one more visit to Penn State before he makes a decision.
